Most body impact sounds are made using vegetables. A common technique ever since Jack Foley introduced the phenomena. An interesting video because it shows you multiple screen captures of a gameplay situation without the sound design. Then they play the same clip again with the recorded material.
Be sure to pay attention to their faces when they are fist deep handling a cucumber. The hardest part of doing these kind of Foley sounds; trying not to laugh.
