Alberto Manfredini is an Italian musician whose work is rooted in curiosity and constant exploration. From the guitar he discovered at the age of eight to his recent ventures into electronic
sound, his path weaves together noise rock, punk, psychedelia, and experimental practices. With Textures, his Humanworkshop debut, Manfredini turns both sound and listening into fields of
investigation: a journey balancing rigor and imagination, immediacy and depth, always opening new spaces of perception.

Textures is the electronic debut album by Alberto Manfredini, inspired by the Residents’ Commercial Album and its radical approach to brevity and fragmentation. Structured as a sequence of concise yet interconnected sonic vignettes, the record unfolds as a mosaic of psychedelia, hip-hop, techno, and ambient, revealing new details with every listen. Each piece stands as a self-contained microcosm while contributing to a coherent and visionary flow.

The project is expanded visually through the work of photographer Fabio Polimadei, who drew inspiration from the landscapes of Tuscia, Italy. His imagery resonates with memory and abstraction, extending the music’s reach and enriching its interpretive possibilities. Textures is both a synthesis of Manfredini’s journey and a statement of intent: music as discovery, risk, and transformation.

Alberto Manfredini is an Italian musician and radio host. His story began with the guitar at a very young age and expanded through noise rock, punk, and psychedelia—genres that he continually reimagined through an open and exploratory approach. Over time, he developed a language that fuses raw energy with a refined listening practice, turning sound into a lens for reinterpreting experience. His long-standing collaboration with Radio Onda d’Urto, where he curates a show dedicated to musical exploration, proved pivotal. A focus on artists such as Matmos opened the door to electronic music and the creative potential of sampling. With his debut album Textures, Manfredini bridges past and present, declaring his vision of music as a field of discovery, risk, and constant transformation.
